The Future

:(

well, by using the "ignore exploit" (while we can!), there is really nothing much to do anyway (maybe deleting duplicates?). I know getting everyone using the exploit takes time, but fetching or manually adding to database isn't exactly faster anyway. The important thing now is maintenance.

I wouldn't mind pitching in with something like this. Dunno how much computer knowledge is required, but I do like data entry!

Can I get access? Also, could you make another backup of the database?

Could I have access?

Several days ago, I said that I had a huge list of accounts that I wanted to manually add to the database. And with this new ignore user feature, I'll be able to add thousands of new users. I've already got a list of every account from 4299500 to 4300000. I plan on working backwards from 4300000.

Wow, awesome. Thanks so much! Looking forward to this.

Is there going to be some sort of organized/coordinated effort to do things? Basically, I guess what we need is:
- Updating the "Manual User Queue" thread
- Adding new users we find via the Ignore function
- Adding anything we find on our own, which I guess would require a PBAdmin check

Anything else?

OK, I've now got a small management area for the GFuserDB. Luster Soldier, hotdogturtle and room101 have access to it, because they showed interest in this topic and are also fairly active.

Oops, didn't see that message prior to the last message I made. I added in one user as a test. The account I added was "War_on_Accounts", which was an account I made an hour ago which ended up being created at level 4 for some weird reason.

For the large list of users I had acquired over the last several months, I'll run all of their User IDs through the ignore user feature to ensure the usernames I'm adding are accurate and to weed out any mistakes on my list.
