| It has finally went live on the boards. The fetcher will no longer work anymore. Now it's up to YE to decide what he plans to do with the fetcher. |

| I contacted YE about it. I also told him to consider a profile fetcher, because that would only be one request for each profile fetch. I know about the potential abuse related to a profile fetcher, so I proposed an idea to try and keep other users from giving invalid profile links to the fetcher. |

| What if there was a script that put a fetch link directly on the universal profile page? Sort of like the old topic fetch script. Then you could click it to fetch that user. It would sort of solve the problem of fetching invalid names since you couldn't fetch names without a direct link. The new problem would be that some people wouldn't be able to use it. |
