| Not really. The GFuserDB is what keeps this forum (somewhat) active. I'd like to create another project so there could be more topics of discussion, but I can't think what else I could do. I may create another GameFAQs project of some type, or just create many forums about different things such as video games, cars, etc. I'm open to suggestions. I will not use abbrev. |

| I have one suggestion, Ryan. Why don't you do like GameFAQs does and make daily polls? I do this on my forum, and 304 polls have been made, and I've never skipped a day, I don't think. The daily polls on my forum usually get around 4-8 posts per poll, and my forum has only about 4 active posters. Does this sound like a good idea to you, YE? The world before the fall... | What are your interests, guys? I might make some new forums for whatever you enjoy. For example, web design, your favourite video games, maybe a "GameFAQs Discussion" board to discuss GameFAQs, but not necesarily the GFuserDB. Polls don't make people post. It makes them vote. I could do basic GameFOX stuff using GreaseMonkey, but I can't store any information anywhere, such as settings or tagged topics. I don't know how to code Firefox extensions :( I will not use abbrev. | Here's an idea: An ASCII rating site. Users would submit ASCII art and rate them. They could specify which font each ASCII uses and specify keywords for them. It would also serve as an ASCII storage facility, so if someone wants to post that Michael Jackson ASCII somewhere they only have to go to the site and search for it. I'm sure it would be a huge hit. I don't believe a login feature is necessary. I don't want a single person submitting every ASCII imaginable. Votes would be tracked by IP. I will not use abbrev. |
