Someone here should make a robot to find the other 2 secret boards

The idea that someone else came up with was to make a robot to look for the 2 other secret boards. This robot shall search board numbers 1 through the highest possible board number and return a list of boards (Along with their board name and board number) that have no topics on the topic list. Then we can check the board numbers to any boards that look like potential secret boards.

It sounds like a good idea

No topics? But what if someone did find them already and hasn't told anyone?

well, if someone could create a bot that returns a list of EVERY board and the board ID, I have an up-to-date list of (I believe) every known GF board that I could compare it against

All the script would need to do is look for boards without game info pages (basically without the subnav2 class).

well, now that we've established what the script should do, anyone have the slightest idea how to go about it?

Hi, I'm new here...

Back on topic - I could probably try to write up something that would search for the two boards. I would imagine that it would be quite the chore, but I think I might be able to do it. I'll give it a shot some time tomorrow. :)

It would take 11.5 days to check every board from 1 to 1,000,000 if your script fetches at a rate of one page a second. Then you have boards like Toaster Oven (#909090909) which wouldn't be checked at all.

To whoever makes such a script, good luck either:

a) running it without being banned, or
b) having the patience to let it run
I will not use abbrev.

I could run it, I have the resources. I dunno where to start with programing it though.

YE, technically, according to the annotated ToU, bots aren't banned
besides, I have access to some computers I haven't logged in on in months
I could make an account there and set the script in motion
course, couldn't let it run for 11.5 days
