How were these names made?

710679 3pwood <-- Apparently, numbers were allowed at the beginning of usernames in the early days, and they are now of course, but this one was made during the time they COULDN'T and before the GS merger

1020436 SilentTouch <--- You can't see it here, but there's a space at the beginning of this name. Can this be done normally through GS? This is the only one I've ever seen.

I do not know about the first one.

As for the others, a long time ago, names like this were allowed at GS. They created the GS account back when it was allowed, then, after the account merger, some of them created a new account with the same name at GF.
I am hated by all.

so GS'ers can put weird symbols like that in their names just by typing them in when they register?
no like scripts or something, the way we have to do space accounts?
is it all ASCII symbols?

A few years ago, they could. They can't now.

©@®§ would be an awesome username.
