Isn't that just what happens when the Gamefaqs account and the corresponding Gamespot account have the same name?

Yeah, I don't get why people still find this to be odd. Everyone does realize that this database holds GameFAQs and GameSpot accounts, correct?

Probably. I wasn't sure, though, which is why I thought drawing it to Rock/YE's attention was best.

I didn't know one could make accounts starting with punctuation. Maybe it's another GS thing.

And Rock, I'm finding out a lot of this stuff as I go. I didn't realize that GS users got a new UserID number, for example, but now I do. Learning curve ftw.

Gamespot accounts can start with any character that's available to use anywhere in a name.

So, I was going through the contributer's recognition page when I came across these users:
`Xenocide
~StickyBloodstains~
!.ACA.!
!0r1-
$bAd bOy$
$DBH$
$pade
---Freak---
--T-Virus--
-Gr|Fter-
-jaembee-
-Kitsune-
-Shadow

Does anyone know how to figure out these users' ids?

Some of those contributor names are linked to a GameFAQs account with the same username as the contributor name because of CJayC creating board accounts for all contributors that did not have an board account. Even so, the board accounts that CJayC created were made at user level -4: Closed which means that pbadmin cannot be used to get the User IDs of the accounts.
