Silent Hill (the movie)

Silent Hill comes to theatres on April 21st. I saw the preview for this movie a few times and it looks pretty spooky... I've always been a fan of Horror; I know I'll be going to see it. Anybody here going as well?

Of course. I played the first few games, (including the ones on playstation) so i hope it keeps along the same sort of theme of the games.

I haven't played any of the Silent Hill games; I've never gotten around to it. I want to check them out soon though. I've heard a lot of good things about them. The good thing is that I have a PS and PS2. How would you rank the Silent Hill game series LotM?

They're pretty good games. I reccomend you try to play them in order as sadly the series seems to decline in the last game, however that's just my opinion.
I would advise you to play the games. Remember, lights out.

Thanks, man. I'm gonna try to play them soon. I'll start with the first one, then move to the next... I'm like you, I don't like to skip around and miss something... Yeah, I like watching and playing horror in the dark; it's better that way. :)
I liked the Resident Evil games, especially the remake for GameCube.
Another scary game to play in the dark is "D". Have you ever played it? It was released by Acclaim on the PS back in 1995. It's a 3-disc set. Spooky game...

I went and watched Silent Hill tonight... I was disappointed. I thought the movie would be scary, but it wasn't at all. It had some good parts, but I didn't really enjoy it.

So the Silent Hill movie wasn't that good? Shame. I was hoping that for once a Game to Film switch would go well but it seems the directors have failed again. Oh Well, at least the games are good. No I have never played "D" ill have to check it out. Also yeah, I like the resident evil games as well. My favorite Resident evil game would have to be Resident evil 3 Nemesis. That huge rocket waving zombie always scared the hell out of me.
